While walking through the narrow streets of this impressive medieval city, known as the "Silent City," the main points of interest include the magnificent St. Paul's Cathedral, the Falson Mansion built by the Falson family, one of Malta's noble families, dating back to the 13th century, the Carmelite Monastery built in Baroque style in the 17th century, Vilhena Palace, and Mdina's historic houses.
