Upon arrival in Granada, our panoramic city tour includes: the main avenue Grand Via, the historic La Rambla Square, and Plaza del Carmen (City Hall Square). After the city tour, we proceed with the Alhambra Palace Tour. Granada was a Muslim city in the Middle Ages, protected by a magnificent fortress known as Elhamra, located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, which has been the subject of fairy tales. The Alhambra Palace dominated the skies of Granada with its location and 37 towers accompanying its high walls. Construction took more than 150 years. However, what makes the Alhambra Palace the most visited place in Spain is that it is more than just a well-protected military shelter. It is a palace where pleasure and enjoyment were enjoyed in elegant courtyards, deadly intrigues took place, and it is also the largest and most beautiful example of Islamic architecture in the West. Known for the inscriptions "There is no victor but Allah" carved thousands of times on all its walls, the enchanting Alhambra looks like it came out of the 1001 Nights tales. Sultan Muhammad XII (Boabdil) lost it unexpectedly and unexpectantly to Queen Isabel. In the same year, it was declared the royal capital of Spain, and royal decisions launching Christopher Columbus’ voyage were made here. All the stories of the palace known today have been compiled by the famous writer Washington Irving under the title "Tales of the Alhambra." During our Alhambra Palace tour, we will visit the Gardens of the Arif, the Summer Palace, the Palace of the famous Emperor Charles V, the Alcazaba Fortress, and, depending on availability, the Nasrid Palaces. Magical and enchanting memories, stories, and photos await you. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Guests who wish can participate in an optional night activity: Sacromonte Gypsy Quarter and Albaicin tour (60 EUR). On this tour, after walking through Albaicin, an old Muslim quarter listed in the Spanish cultural heritage list and under protection, we watch the Gypsy show and their lifestyle while enjoying a drink in caves entirely made by hand.

Day 8 Madrid – Toledo – Istanbul
On the last day of the tour, after breakfast and completing check-out procedures, we depart for Toledo. Undoubtedly, Toledo, the capital of the Castilla-La Mancha region located 70 km southwest of Madrid, is one of the most important cities in Spanish history. With its image carrying traces of all civilizations that have come to Spain, it offers unforgettable memories to its visitors. The city, surrounded by the Tagus River, built on protected steep cliffs and encircled by high walls, has always been a valuable city throughout history, from Romans to Visigoths, from Andalusia to the Spanish Kingdom. Also, Toledo, which was the center of Judaism on the Iberian Peninsula until the late 15th century, hosts many important structures such as Europe’s oldest synagogue still standing, dozens of churches converted from mosques, and the magnificent cathedral where Spain was religiously governed, forming a mosaic where three monotheistic religions and peoples intermingled. Until the Empire moved its capital to Madrid in 1561, Toledo was the political, cultural, commercial, and military center. It also served as inspiration for Cervantes&rsquo immortal work Don Quixote, and a large part of the story takes place in this city and its surroundings. For all these reasons, Toledo has found its place on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Among the places we will see during our tour are: the famous lookout hill where you can photograph the magnificent view of the city dating back to the 16th century almost like a painting, San Martin Bridge, San Juan Monastery, Jewish Quarter, Santo Tome Church, Santa Maria Cathedral Square, the shopping street where you can find everything unique to the city, and the city center Zocodover Square. During the free time after the tour, you can taste Mazapan, almond paste unique to Toledo, and try Manchego, matured sheep cheese recognized worldwide by Spain and named after this region. Afterwards, we depart for the Capital Madrid tour. Madrid, which was once a provincial settlement not very noticeable amidst green fields until it was declared the capital of the Kingdom of Spain, is one of Europe’s youngest capitals. Its city architecture, showing the expansion stages of the city and different art forms ruling in different periods, enchants its visitors. Capital Madrid is the city with the most impressive night lighting in the country. During our tour, we will find ourselves suddenly on Gran Via, one of the most luxurious streets of the 1900s, while watching the colossal statue of Cybele, the nature goddess depicted on her chariot drawn by lions. This elegant and sophisticated neighborhood will welcome you with both its Art Nouveau and Modernist architecture and its colorful and lively life. Then we will come to Palacio Real, the city’s most powerful yet equally rich in art and history magnificent palace. Here we will also see Mercado de San Miguel, the world-famous gourmet market accepted as a meeting point for pleasant conversations and on-the-go dinners by people. After San Miguel, we will go to Plaza Mayor, the city’s most valuable square, a true architectural symphony. At the end of our tour, we will go to Puerta del Sol (Sun Gate) square, named after the city gate located in the east during the Muslim period of the city, witnessing the sunrise. In this busiest place in Madrid, where crowds have never been lacking for centuries, we will enjoy a colorful break, and after pleasant free time among the pleasant music of street artists and musicians, our transfer to Madrid Airport will take place at the time specified by the tour leader. After ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, we depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1860 at 18:25. Arrival in Istanbul at 23:40. Hope to see you on your next journey...
