After completing our ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, we depart for Ljubljana on Turkish Airlines' scheduled flight TK1061 at 07:30. Upon arrival in Ljubljana at 08:45 local time, we board our private bus to begin our panoramic city tour. After the tour, we head towards Venice. From Tronchetto port, the final stop for vehicles, we take a vaporetto to the historic island. After a pleasant vaporetto ride, we disembark near San Marco Square, the historic center of the city, and begin our tour through the canals. Here, motorized vehicles like police cars, ambulances, garbage trucks, and municipal buses have been replaced by boats. As we walk along Riva degli Schiavoni (Riva degli Schiavoni), one of Venice's iconic spots, we will see the Bridge of Sighs (Ponte dei Sospiri), San Giorgio Maggiore Island, the exterior of the Doge's Palace, and two historic columns symbolizing the city's entrance. After our walk, we arrive at San Marco Square, the heart of Venice and one of its most magnificent squares. Following brief explanations by our guide, we are given free time and a photo break to explore this enchanting atmosphere and take beautiful photos. We learn about the history and architectural features of St. Mark's Basilica, one of Venice's most important landmarks, and discover the significance of St. Mark's Square as the political and religious center of the Venetian Republic for centuries. Then, we continue our walk through the historic streets of Venice, gaining detailed information about the Clock Tower (Torre dell'Orologio), the Campanile (Bell Tower), and the Doge's Palace. Further along, we navigate through narrow canals, hidden passages, and historic squares that reflect Venice's enchanting atmosphere, exploring the area around the Rialto Bridge and Rialto Market, one of the city's most important trade hubs from past to present. We have the opportunity to observe the lively atmosphere of this area up close and take beautiful photos reflecting Venice's unique texture. We crown our Venice experience with the gondola tour, one of the most enjoyable and unforgettable parts of our program.
